JCPRC is proud to partner with Code Ninjas Eastern Panhandle to offer dozens of exciting, hands-on educational camps for your little Ninja this summer!  All camps will meet at Code Ninjas, located at 217 Oak Lee Drive, Suite 3B in Ranson, WV (in the Weis shopping center).

Jr Robotics: LEGO & ARTEC Coding
This camp is an adventure of imagination, innovation, and fun. Featuring Spike Essential, campers will jump into the extraordinary world of robotics. They'll start off unplugged, with games designed for giggling and grooving as well as teaching basic robotics concepts. Then it's on to exploring Spike Essential's coolest components—motors, gyro sensors, color sensors, and lights—while uncovering the foundations of coding like sequencing, events, and loops. By the end of this thrilling week, their creations will come to life with projects like a moving carousel and speedy cars. Through playful learning and creative problem-solving, they’ll conquer design challenges as they dream up and refine their own projects. This isn't just a camp—it's a journey into the exciting universe of robotics, where every child is a budding engineer!

Jr Robotics: Ozobot Lab
Young makers will explore the exciting world of robotics as they design, build, and code with Ozobot! Ninjas will learn to program their tiny robot friends using both creative Color Codes and kid-friendly Ozobot Blockly. Through hands-on STEM challenges, they will build mazes, design bridges for their bots to cross, and even create a lively Ozobot parade. Along the way, Ninjas practice problem-solving, teamwork, and early engineering skills while discovering how fun it is to bring ideas to life through coding and robotics. In this camp, our young minds embark on a thrilling journey of discovery and creation! Designed for curious kids ages 5-7, this camp is a whirlwind of hands-on fun, combining the wonders of engineering, circuitry, and coding. Each day, campers will unleash their creativity as they dive into making their own paper circuits, crafting a DIY flashlight, and designing a paper computer with Makey Makey. But the adventure doesn't stop there! Campers will also explore coding by bringing projects to life with the micro:bit and building a LEGO marble maze. To close out this amazing week, they'll harness all their newfound skills to create a one-of-a-kind interactive board game, showcasing their inventive spirit and problem-solving prowess.
