Future Rec Leaders Academy is a leadership training experience for teens ages 13–17 who are interested in building confidence, responsibility, and real-world skills.
Participants will develop leadership and teamwork skills through hands-on challenges, group activities, and practical learning experiences. Throughout the week, teens will explore what it means to work in Parks & Recreation by practicing communication, supervision awareness, organization, park stewardship, and positive role modeling.
This program is ideal for teens who are interested in becoming a Counselor-in-Training, volunteering, or preparing for future employment in a recreation setting. Participants will leave with increased confidence, leadership experience, and a stronger understanding of what it takes to support programs and events successfully.
