Future Rec Leaders Academy - Future Rec Leaders Academy Future Rec Leaders Academy is a leadership training experience for teens ages 13–17 who are interested in building confidence, responsibility, and real-world skills. Participants will develop leadership and teamwork skills through hands-on challenges, group activities, and practical learning experiences. Throughout the week, teens will explore what it means to work in Parks & Recreation by practicing communication, supervision awareness, organization, park stewardship, and positive role modeling. This program is ideal for teens who are interested in becoming a Counselor-in-Training, volunteering, or preparing for future employment in a recreation setting. Participants will leave with increased confidence, leadership experience, and a stronger understanding of what it takes to support programs and events successfully.

You'll only need to drop off at 9 and pick up at 4!Campers must bring a packed lunch each day. Future Rec Leaders Academy - Future Rec Leaders Academy Future Rec Leaders Academy is a leadership training experience for teens ages 13–17 who are interested in building confidence, responsibility, and real-world skills. Participants will develop leadership and teamwork skills through hands-on challenges, group activities, and practical learning experiences. Throughout the week, teens will explore what it means to work in Parks & Recreation by practicing communication, supervision awareness, organization, park stewardship, and positive role modeling. This program is ideal for teens who are interested in becoming a Counselor-in-Training, volunteering, or preparing for future employment in a recreation setting. Participants will leave with increased confidence, leadership experience, and a stronger understanding of what it takes to support programs and events successfully.

Summer Lunch Bunch - Summer Lunch Bunch "Week 3" June 22-26 Is your camper registered for a morning half-day camp and an afternoon half-day camp at Sam Michaels Park? Do work or other commitments have you away during the day? Don't want to make the extra trip out to pick up and drop off each day?LUNCH BUNCH IS THE PROGRAM FOR YOU!Your camper will be signed out of their morning camp by a JCPRC staff member, who will spend the lunch hour with them and other Lunch Bunchers, then will drop them off and sign them into their afternoon camp program. You'll only need to drop off at 9 and pick up at 4!Campers must bring a packed lunch each day. This is ONLY for campers registered for BOTH morning and afternoon camps, and is not an early drop-off or extended care program.

Spend Your Summer with JCPRC Day Camp! Join us for a summer of fun at one of our convenient Day Camp locations! Each week features themed adventures filled with crafts, sports, games, and more. Your early registration helps us plan ahead—ensuring adequate supplies and staffing to provide a safe and engaging environment for your child. Thank you for your support! Camp Reminders:
Send your child with a packed lunch (no heating or refrigeration), a refillable water bottle, and two snacks.
Dress for the weather and outdoor play.
Weekly informational emails will include important updates and details.
Campers must have completed kindergarten to participate.

Day Camp has a field trip to Summit Point Motorsports scheduled on July 24 - no additional cost to families; thanks to the generosity of the Porsche Club of America, Potomac Region.
